Decisions are shaped long before suppliers see the result.

The organization is grounded in more than 46 years of combined leadership experience inside gas and electric utilities and other complex regulated organizations, spanning supply management and supplier programs, information technology, customer service, gas operations, smart meter deployment, fleet services, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and large infrastructure programs.

From inside those environments, one pattern repeated. Regulation, infrastructure planning, funding, procurement strategy, safety standards, technology direction, and corporate policy all shape what suppliers will eventually be asked to deliver — often months or years in advance.

The second pattern was quieter. Suppliers with genuinely useful perspective on those decisions were not always in a position to raise it independently, particularly where important contracting relationships were involved. Our leadership saw capable suppliers absorb requirements they had no practical way to influence, and saw decisions made without input that would have improved them.

Nexis Hub was created out of that observation: an organization built by people who understand how these decisions are actually made, and who can represent supplier interests within that process credibly and constructively.
